IHSH-408-BLK - 12oz Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Work Shirt - Black

Substantial, warm, and windproof, these 12oz slubby heavy flannel (SHF) shirts share the same rugged qualities as the brand’s signature ultra-heavy flannels. The use of slub yarn cotton gives the fabric a much more uneven texture compared to traditional flannels, highlighting its unique character. While the face of the fabric is full of charm, the reverse is double-brushed, ensuring a soft, cozy feel (like chick fluff). We love how simple this black-and-blue design is. If you don't want flashy, but you still want UHF, this is the one for you. 

The shirts are seen here in a work cut with a black/navy herringbone check. For FW24, the buttons have been upgraded—replacing the two-hole cat's eye buttons from previous models with more robust four-hole buttons for a secure fastening.

Fit Notes: Tommy decided to go with an XL in this piece. While it is roomier than the western, it didn't feel ridiculous to him to go with an XL in this piece. If you want a trimmer fit, stick with your normal Iron Heart size. If you don't know your normal Iron Heart size, start with the next size up from whatever you're thinking and compare those size charts to real-life measurements of your best-fitting garment. Pay close attention to those size charts before making your final decision. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
