IHSH-405-GRN - 12oz Ultra Heavy Flannel Check Western Shirt - Green

We're super appreciative of the selection of UHF this year if for no other reason than nostalgia's sake. This green flannel transports us immediately to the 90s. It has that immediately vintage vibe we find ourselves looking for in flannels. We love the option to wear a flannel with more contemporary-looking silhouettes, and this shirt buttoned just below the neck creates that vibe for us. The Ultra Heavy Flannel is known for its beefiness and twice-brushed interior creating a softness akin to chicken fluff. The exterior has a wonderful, more crispy feeling letting you know you're wearing one of the best flannels on the planet. This green color combo is a first for us, which means a lot seeing as we've seen just about every option there is. This is because that green is muted, so instead of being full on kelly, it feels more like a basil or green onion color. We think this is a wardrobe builder instead of just a fancy add-on. It's one of the best they've done in years.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Tommy decided to go with an XL in this piece and it was totally the right call. Large is his typical, true size from Iron Heart which is why we always recommend sizing up once from what you normally wear from other brands. But, the western fits smaller than the work shirt. So if he were going to buy this, he would definitely pick up the XL. Pay close attention to those size charts as these are meant to be slim, and if you don't want that...it can be a wicked surprise. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
